CONEL SHOWREEL

After a year at Conel, we were asked to edit a showreel with this exactly format.
It is not the most beautiful format but at least it is descriptive.

DOCUMENTARY Expository mode

The Conel project that I feel most proud of.
We started as a group by owing to the lack of compromise and interest of my team I developed by my own. Besides, I was lucky enough to film some locations before the coronavirus.

I collaborated with a 3D animator to develop the brain explanation. But owing to coronavirus time I miss one part and I sort it out using my painting skills (the ones I should improve...)

The rest of locations and shots came from royalty free resources.

STUDENT SERVICES AT CONEL

As part of the Creative Media programme we were required to develop a promotional video which meets the client's brief (UAL way).

It had to explain 3 services of the College  including interviews and testimonials.

The most interesting part of the editing has been matching the different audios, in particular when it was filmed with more than 2 cameras.

NOTE - I set the cameras but I did not film the interview where I appear.

PROMOTIONAL VIDEO

As part of the Creative Media programme we were required to develop a promotional video which meets the client's brief (UAL way).

It had to explain where is the College and what it offers; highlighting that it is the 1st FREE College of London.

NOTE - I did not film myself, therefore those shots were filmed by my other 2 colleagues.

SHORT FILM 30MINS

This was my first contact with cameras. Until then I was just directing and writing 'theatre'.

It was a fabulous experiment and first contact. Everything changed, from the way we write the script or the way it is produced as the rehearsals or make-up.
Even though, I tryed my best experimenting with different angles, continuity, the use of music and mainly trying to transmit those archaic feelings.

I wanted to be able to gather through the camera the emotions and feelings that I was used to handle on the stage.
